Job Title: DevOps / Security Engineer Toronto

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps/Security Engineer to join our team at Noise Digital Inc. in Toronto. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in unifying our development and operational processes while maintaining a robust, multi-cloud security posture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Architecture: Design and implement a comprehensive security architecture for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other cloud environments, identifying and mitigating security risks across the infrastructure.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for GCP and other cloud platforms, automating provisioning, scaling, and configuration of cloud resources.
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement comprehensive backup strategies that align with client business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk tolerance, ensuring data protection and recovery options.
  • Security and Monitoring: Implement and manage federated login solutions (OKTA, Auth0) to securely manage user identities and access, conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, and develop and enforce security policies and best practices across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services.
  • Experience with backup and recovery tools specifically designed for GCP.
  • Strong expertise in infrastructure automation using Terraform for multi-cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with federated login solutions (OKTA, Auth0).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
  • Deep understanding of security best practices and industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with security architecture design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
