Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Island Beach Company.

Job Summary:

The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide solutions to their needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product information, features, and benefits.
  • Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets, process transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Visual Merchandising: Assist with visual displays, product placement, and store displays.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail sales experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Art or Fashion Design Experience: Experience in women's, children's, or men's clothing.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a background check and maintain a bondable status.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Adaptability, energetic, goal-oriented, outgoing, time management, dependability, flexibility, organized, and team player.
