Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Recruit, hire, and supervise teachers and other staff members to ensure a high-quality learning environment.
    • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve student outcomes and achievement.
    • Collaborate with the Principal to establish and achieve school goals and objectives.
  • Curriculum and Instruction
    • Evaluate and refine the curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of our students and aligns with provincial standards.
    • Develop and implement professional development programs for teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Monitor and assess student progress to identify areas for improvement.
  • Student Support and Well-being
    • Develop and implement strategies to support student well-being and mental health.
    • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment.
    • Provide guidance and support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Communication and Community Engagement
    • Develop and maintain relationships with parents, teachers, and the broader community to promote a positive school culture.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed about school events and initiatives.
    • Represent the school at community events and meetings.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience as a school administrator or in a related role.
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work a 40-hour week, with some flexibility to attend evening events and meetings as required.

Language

The primary language of communication is English.
