Island Health requires a Medical Laboratory Technologist certified by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) to work in the histology-pathology section of the laboratory.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized program and recent experience in histology-pathology related courses or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
