Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer various massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and discomfort.
  • Explain treatment procedures, risks, and benefits to clients, ensuring they are fully informed and comfortable throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments provided, including client information and treatment outcomes.
  • Develop and implement personalized massage plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Experience in massage therapy, with a strong focus on soft tissue manipulation and pain relief.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and provide clear, concise information to clients and colleagues.
