The Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 25-bed facility offering a range of services including diagnostic radiology, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedic surgery and internal medicine. Currently specialist office space is located within the hospital.
There are 3 operating rooms in the hospital and Anesthesia services are provided by extremely competent GP-Anaesthetists. There is ample OR time available as well as cystoscopy time. A new state-of-the-art laparoscopic surgical tower has recently been installed. Significant upgrades to OR1 are planned to improve and expand on Urology services in the hospital.
