We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Picking Operator to join our team at Uni-Select Inc. in Boucherville, QC.

About the Role:

  • As a Warehouse Picking Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining storage and distribution of product by pulling orders from the warehouse to the staging/shipping area, re-stocking products on shelves, and recording inventory locations.
  • You will locate parts by pulling and verifying product numbers listed on pick orders, receive materials, verify quantities, and place materials in stock.
  • Additionally, you will prepare stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, and staging product, document product shipment by recording units shipped, and pack, print labels, and prepare orders for shipping.
  • You will also operate powered, mobile/lifting equipment for order picking of bulk items, primarily an Order Picker and a Reach Truck.

Requirements:

  • Previous work experience in a similar role is a definite asset.
  • You must be in good physical condition, able to stand, walk, sit, and handle parts.
  • You must be capable of lifting parts up to 50 pounds (23kg).
  • You will work with rolling equipment (pallet jacks, trolleys, carts) and powered lifting devices such as an Order picker and Reach Truck.
  • You must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • You possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Computer literacy is mandatory, and experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an asset.
  • You will be available on occasion to work outside regular business hours.
  • You are organized and self-disciplined, task-oriented, diplomatic, and tactful in communication, and maintain a spirit of cooperation with coworkers.
