We are seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team

About the Role

This is a seasonal position that requires a high level of physical fitness and attention to detail. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for managing landscaping projects, preparing proposals, and writing specifications. You will also be responsible for surveying and assessing designated sites, watering and tending to plants, lawns, and gardens, and assessing the health of lawns.

Responsibilities
  • Manage landscaping projects from start to finish
  • Prepare detailed proposals and specifications for clients
  • Survey and assess designated sites to determine the best course of action
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure optimal health and appearance
  • Assess the health of lawns and make recommendations for improvement
  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
  • Plant and move trees as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Pre-apprenticeship training or level one apprenticeship training in landscaping
  • Ability to work in a noisy and outdoors environment
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
