Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Bethesda Game Studios as a Build Programmer

As a Build Programmer, you will design and define development infrastructure, working closely with game technology leads. You will be responsible for end-to-end development infrastructure systems, including game code changes, reporting systems, client and server build and deployment systems, automated testing and reporting systems, and estimating schedules and delivering high-quality work products to meet those schedules.

You will play a key role in shaping the infrastructure that supports the creation of award-winning games like Starfield, The Elder Scrolls, and Fallout.

Responsibilities
  • Design and define development infrastructure, collaborating with game technology leads
  • Develop end-to-end development infrastructure systems, from game code changes to reporting systems
  • Create client and server build and deployment systems
  • Implement automated testing and reporting systems
  • Estimate schedules and deliver high-quality work products to meet those schedules
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in cross-platform build systems in Linux and Windows
  • Knowledgeable in multiple branched environments
  • Basic Linux System Administrator knowledge
  • Good knowledge of Python
  • Strong knowledge of continuous integration pipelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability

  • Web programming (PHP, etc.)
