Job Description
  • Become a member of a strong training program and gain foundation to advance your career in various areas (Agronomy, Operations, Management, Leadership, etc.)
  • Work directly with canola seed growers during summer months
  • Perform responsibilities associated with general plant operations from receiving seed to shipping packaged seed
Responsibilities
  1. Operate various types of plant equipment such as sizing, gravity operation, spiral separators, seed treatment applicators, packaging equipment
  2. Perform conditioning activities including cleaning and sizing, treating, packaging, palletizing, wrapping, and sampling
  3. Maintain compliance with Work Instructions and Quality Plan requirements
  4. Repair and maintain plant equipment as required
  5. Participate in other duties as applicable
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; willing and able to obtain GED within one year of hire
  • 0-2 years experience in production, manufacturing, or related field
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Ability to climb and/or work in elevated areas, stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime hours, nights, and weekends during seasonal peaks
