About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Waterproofing Specialist to join our team at United Waterprooers Canada Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing waterproofing systems on various commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems as needed to ensure a watertight seal.
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level to prevent water infiltration.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to prepare and maintain work materials and supplies.
  • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations and ensure accurate layout and installation procedures.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, and document and prepare invoices and work orders.
  • Repair and service exterior prefabricated products and install interior and exterior prefabricated products as required.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in waterproofing and roofing installation.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Dependability, reliability, and a team player attitude are essential for this role.
