Senior Safeguarding Strategist

This Role:

• Is suitable for job sharing.
• Combines remote work with occasional meetings and training sessions in major Refugee Council offices across London, Leeds, and Sheffield.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the Designated Safeguarding Officer in developing and implementing a robust safeguarding strategy within the charity.
• Report to the Corporate Safeguarding Board on policy implementation, organisational safeguarding risks, and mitigations to ensure effective governance and culture.
• Lead the Safeguarding Managers Forum to review policy execution, share best practices, and drive innovation.

Location: Any major Refugee Council office (Stratford, Leeds, Sheffield)

Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
