Job Description- Communicate with drivers via phone/text/geotab to advise next pick-up and deliveries.
- Work closely with drivers to resolve any issues they may encounter.
- Update shipment status in the dispatch system.
- Determine the best routes and order of pick-ups and deliveries.
- Collaborate with fellow dispatchers to coordinate daily activities.
- Advise Customer Service Representatives of any issues.
- Familiarity with FTL and LTL knowledge.
- At least one year's experience in a trucking or brokerage industry.
- Strong geographical knowledge of Quebec.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Monday-Friday schedule, 10:00am to 7:30pm.
- 40-hour work week.
- Casual dress code.
