Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SMOKE POUTINERIE. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food to ensure high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a hot environment and maintain a high level of physical activity throughout the shift.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and management.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
