Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our Lafrentz Road Marking team. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for supporting our road marking projects, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, and contributing to the success of our team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist operators, lead hands, and foremen in their duties
  • Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections
  • Keep current and accurate driver logs using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD or eLog)
  • Execute and maintain temporary traffic accommodations (signs, arrowboards, barricades, traffic cones)
  • Perform flag-person tasks
  • Learn our processes and contribute to a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is an asset
  • Valid driver's license (Class 5) with a recent commercial drivers abstract
  • Must own reliable transportation
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to perform manual labour (ability to lift up to 40kg/90lbs)
  • Willing to work out of town occasionally, for up to 2 weeks at a time
  • Willing to work occasional night shifts
