Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for planning, testing, and maintaining our software products. Your expertise will ensure the successful verification and validation of system requirements and software features.

Responsibilities
  1. Follow the SDLC and software testing best practices to ensure high-quality software products.
  2. Author test plans, procedures, and reports to ensure thorough testing.
  3. Define test objectives and write test cases for functional, application, regression, and performance testing.
  4. Execute manual testing at the system level and perform exploratory testing.
  5. Develop and maintain procedures for automatic testing of routine and complex test cases.
  6. Participate in peer reviews and ensure test procedures are maintained in the version control repository.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered during testing.
  8. Maintain software product quality by raising defects and investigating and resolving Software Change Requests and customer tickets.
  9. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure our software products remain competitive.
Requirements
  1. 8-10 years of experience in a software environment, with a degree in Computer Science, Software, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, or Mathematics.
  2. Experience in testing software on Windows and Linux platforms, as well as areas such as 2D/3D graphics, TCP/IP, UDP, and real-time systems.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure in a high-paced environment.
  4. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to take ownership of mistakes and correct them.
