About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary health professional team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nutrition care, disease management, and education to patients.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing patient-centered care plans, evaluating outcomes, and promoting health and disease prevention.

As a member of our healthcare team, the Dietitian will work collaboratively with clinicians to provide effective, evidence-based strategies for patient self-management.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, completion of a Dietetic internship, and licensure by the Nova Scotia Dietetic Association.

Two years of related experience in an adult health care facility is preferred, as is specialty practice certification such as Certified Diabetes Educator.

The successful candidate will be required to travel to facilities within Cumberland County and possess a valid driver's license.
