Job Title: President of Computing Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced President of Computing Services to join our team at Great Lakes College of Science and Technology.

Job Summary:

The President of Computing Services will be responsible for leading the IT department and overseeing the development and implementation of technology strategies to support the college's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the IT department and manage a team of IT professionals
  • Develop and implement technology strategies to support the college's mission and goals
  • Allocate resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and assess physical and technical security risks
  • Establish financial and administrative controls and approve promotional campaigns
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a senior management role
  • Excellent written communication and judgement skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
