Job Description

As a Millwright Maintenance Technician at Halliwell Consulting Corp, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment. Your expertise in electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and fabrication will be essential in maintaining our facility's machinery.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an inventory of spare parts and fluids required for maintenance purposes.
  • Install, examine, replace, and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
  • Inspect and verify that all equipment safety devices are in proper and safe operating condition.
  • Fabricate for the Press Shop and Tool Room.
  • Operate machine tools such as lathes and milling machines, and fabrication tools such as welders, brakes, presses, power tools, and punches.
  • Perform basic operations on machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, and setup of machinery.
  • Ensure a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to all obligations and requirements under Section 28 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Attend and participate in all required meetings and ensure timely communication of information to team members.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company tooling, processes, methods, customer and supplier information, and business.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and methods, informing management as necessary.
