Job Summary:

The Produce Clerk will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized produce department, ensuring that products are properly stocked and displayed. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unpack and stock produce products in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure that products are properly displayed and facing
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the stockroom and sales floor
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and management as needed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or produce-related role
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

The Produce Clerk will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with regular exposure to customers and colleagues. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic setting.
