BURNCO LLC is a leading provider of ready-mix concrete solutions in Central Alberta. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mixer Driver to join our team at our Red Deer operation.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Mixer Driver to operate our Ready-Mix Trucks in urban areas and tight construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of concrete products and a proven track record of safe driving practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Ready-Mix Truck in urban areas and tight construction sites.
  • Learn and execute our company safety protocol to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal truck performance.
  • Contribute to keeping locations in and around the plant clean and hazardous-free.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Safe Driver Record.
  • Class 1 or 3 CDL (with air brake endorsement).
  • Concrete Mixer Truck driving experience an asset.
  • An understanding of concrete products an asset.
  • City driving experience.
  • The ability to drive manual transmission is an asset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and be available on short notice.
  • Ability to successfully pass our pre-employment testing.
