About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at 10tation Event Catering. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of baked goods and pastries for our events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of doughs, batters, and icings according to recipes and special customer orders.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain our high standards.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment to prepare and package baked goods.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

  • Work in a fast-paced bakery environment with repetitive tasks.
