Brightshores seeks a highly skilled nursing professional to join our team in the Day Surgery and PACU department.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting health, assessing, providing care, and treating health conditions of adults and children during phase I and II recovery within the perianesthesia setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health conditions and provide appropriate care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve seamless patient care
- Conduct thorough physical assessments and identify potential health risks
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor patients' responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in perianesthesia nursing
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
