We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Vendor Information Risk Management team. As Chief Information Security Risk Manager, you will oversee the assessment of information security controls for vendors in North America and serve as a business matter expert in identifying, quantifying, and measuring IS risks.
This role is based out of Toronto, Ontario, with a hybrid work arrangement (three days in office). You will be responsible for leading a team of experts who conduct supplier assessments and provide strategic guidance on information security risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective strategies to manage information security risks associated with vendors.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and assess information security risks.
- Conduct on-site visits to evaluate vendor compliance with information security controls.
- Provide expert guidance on information security risk management practices and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging risks and technologies to ensure the organization remains secure.
- Participate in key projects and initiatives that impact information security risk management.
About You
- You have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5-7 years of experience in IT, including 2-3 years in auditing or equivalent experience.
- You possess a CISA or CRISC certification and have a proven track record in technology audit, risk, and compliance.
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills and can negotiate effectively with vendors and stakeholders.
- You are a problem-solver who identifies issues and proposes solutions.
- You are a strong collaborator who can work with cross-functional teams.
