Retail Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Retail Procurement Specialist to join our team at MG Cleaning Services. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of merchandise for resale.
Key Responsibilities- Study market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable prices and terms
- Maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and excess inventory
- Negotiate pricing, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers to achieve best possible outcomes
- Oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Review business requirements and determine the quantity and type of merchandise needed to purchase
- Select and purchase merchandise for resale, taking into account factors such as quality, price, and availability
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; degree in related field an asset
- 1-2 years of experience in retail procurement or a related field
- Full-time position; 30-40 hours per week
- Work language: English
The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
