As an AR Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounts receivable process, from generating and reviewing invoices to resolving payment discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Management: Prepare, scan, and distribute approved invoices to clients through various channels.
  • Payment Processing: Receive third-party payments, process receipts, and post customer payments to general ledgers.
  • Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, credit balances, refunds, and adjustments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Financial Controller to maintain collection goals and develop strategies to mitigate customer objections.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer contracts, billing terms, and job cost details.
  • Communication: Interact with customers to provide billing information and support, ensuring swift payment of invoices.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, including data entry, reporting, and analysis.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, working knowledge of ViewPoint Construction Software, and strong Excel data manipulation skills.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
