About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Courier Service Driver to join our team at Gill Courier Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting packages and goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver packages and goods
  • Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch and management team
  • Load and unload packages and goods safely and efficiently
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and reduce delivery times
  • Record trip information, including vehicle mileage and fuel costs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Cellular phone
  • Gloves
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. The successful candidate will be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads.
