Job Overview

At Subway, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.

About the Role

We are looking for a candidate with experience in supervising a small team, preferably in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with customers, colleagues, and management on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supervising 1-2 team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their duties and responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines

• Ensuring all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, meeting Subway's quality and presentation requirements

• Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory records

• Handling customer complaints and resolving issues efficiently and professionally

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role or industry

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with others

• Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously

• Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and presentation

Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling loud noises, strong odors, and hot temperatures. The role requires standing for extended periods and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.

Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
