Job Description

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team on a permanent full-time basis (35 hours/week). The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and coordinating digital marketing campaigns to support the overall operational objectives of The United Church of Canada.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education degree in a related field;
  • 3-5 years of related experience in social media, digital communications, and online marketing, non-profit sector preferred;
  • Bilingual in French and English;
  • Excellent writing skills, in plain language or journalism styles with a keen eye for detail including proofreading and editing abilities;
  • Solid project management skills, and ability to coordinate within and across Units of the United church;
  • Strong computer skills working with online social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube, and social media management tools especially Hootsuite and Facebook Ad Manager;
  • Experience working with Hubspot, MailChimp, MS Marketing, Constant Contact, or other mass emailing platforms, including newsletter creation, contact management, and analytics;
  • Experience using Meta Business, paid Google advertising, and other online marketing platforms;
Benefits

The target hiring range for this position is $49,462.23 to $56,372.63 with the ability to progress to a maximum of $65,950.05. This is based on category 4 on our salary range. Placement on the salary range will be based on factors such as market condition, internal equity, candidate experience skills and qualifications relevant to the role. Pension and group benefit plans coverage and annual vacation round out this compensation package.
