Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal, and operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air).
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines, and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Work Environment:

The Brazer will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.

Requirements:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 32 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
