About the Role

The Hematologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with blood-related disorders, including benign and malignant conditions. They will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They must also be licensed to practice medicine in Ontario and have the necessary certifications in Hematology.

  • Provide inpatient consultations, benign and malignant, at both hospital sites
  • Participate in Medicine inpatient ward rounds approximately one weekend every 8-12 weeks
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care
