Job Title: Senior Mechanical Project Manager

A reputable ICI focused Mechanical Contractor based in the Central GTA is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
  • Interpret and analyze drawings and specifications
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and schedules
  • Shop Drawing control
  • RFI control
  • Change Order control
  • Prepare monthly progress reports and associated draws
  • Conduct regular project meetings with the team, stakeholders, and clients
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the project team to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively to meet project goals
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and other partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on the project's progress and address any concerns or issues that arise

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a project manager in the mechanical construction industry
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and contract documents
  • Thorough knowledge of contract language, Terms and Conditions, Bonding, Permits, etc.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource management, and cost analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
