Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team at St Josephs Hospital in Estevan, Saskatchewan. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, treatment, and case management services to individuals, couples, groups, and families experiencing mental health problems and/or addictions issues.

About the Role

This is a full-time regular position with 224 hours worked over a 6-week rotation. The successful candidate will be required to travel within the region. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide counseling services to clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health and addiction issues
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory bodies and internal policies

Requirements

- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from an accredited institution
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate licensing body
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
