KIT Recruitment is partnering with a leading agricultural company to fill a Grain Facility Machine Operator position in Manitoba.
Job Responsibilities- Operate grain elevators, conveyors, dryers, and milling equipment to process and handle pulses products.
- Adjust grain flow through different processing stages to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Receive and unload raw grain shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and storage.
- Load processed grain onto trucks or railcars as per specifications.
- Inspect grains for quality, cleanliness, and contaminants.
- Maintain grain inventory, processing, and maintenance records.
- Complete required production reports and logs.
- Proven experience operating cleaning machinery in a grain facility or terminal.
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in the agricultural industry.
- Technical aptitude in grain handling equipment, machinery, and technology for record-keeping and reporting.
- Certification in grain handling or cleaning is an asset.
- $22 - $25/hourly (with a shift premium of $1 for afternoon shift).
- 2 weeks vacation.
- Benefits after 90 days.
