Heavy Equipment Technician

At Toromont Cat, we're seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our shop, you'll be responsible for servicing and repairing Caterpillar equipment and components. Your day will be filled with troubleshooting, planning, and executing repairs, as well as preparing detailed service reports for our customers.
About the Role:
- Work in a safe and healthy environment, adhering to Toromont's Health and Safety Policies and Programs.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment.
- Service and repair Caterpillar and heavy equipment to the highest standards.
- Prepare accurate and timely service reports.
- Maintain excellent customer relations through regular communication.
- Participate in assignments to support customer needs.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education.
- Valid Technician License Heavy Equipment Technician 421A license, as per Provincial standards.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Technician.
