Position Overview

Bockstael is seeking a Site Superintendent with an electrical background to oversee construction activities. The Superintendent will manage on-site construction processes, ensuring adherence to contract documents and specifications while maintaining budget and schedule compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate job site activities effectively.
  • Uphold the Bockstael brand among clients, employees, trade partners, and suppliers.
  • Promote a culture of safety and leadership on-site.
  • Manage project schedules and evaluate workforce needs.
  • Collaborate with site managers, project managers, owners, consultants, trade contractors, inspectors, and regulatory bodies to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Meet project milestones and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Utilize the Lean Last Planner System for project management, focusing on daily execution.
  • Oversee work execution, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications and drawings.
  • Flexibility to travel as required within the region.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Journeyperson Electrician (RSE), Gold Seal Certified (GSC), CET certification, or relevant engineering education.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects with values exceeding $10 million.
  • A minimum of five years in the industry, leading diverse construction teams across multiple trades, particularly in the ICI sector, mid/high-rise multifamily projects, and healthcare.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities, with a focus on innovative performance enhancement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
