We are seeking an Executive Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Neko's Game Store + Carwash. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Job Summary

The Executive Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for leading daily operations, managing staff, and supervising office and volunteer staff. They will also be responsible for evaluating daily operations, planning and organizing daily operations, and determining merchandise and services to be sold.

This is a permanent position with a salary of approximately $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Benefits include dental, health care, and vision care plans, as well as free parking available.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and control daily operations of the retail store, including managing inventory, scheduling staff, and resolving customer issues.
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources and maximum sales revenue.
  • Manage staff and supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure they have the necessary tools and support to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, taking into account market research and trends.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote products and services.
  • Determine staffing requirements based on business needs and manage recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and employee conflicts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems, inventory control software, and electronic mail.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Reader and spreadsheet software.
