About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team at Shady Tree Neighbourhood Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dishroom, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are sanitized and stored properly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware in the dishwashers or by hand
  • Sort and store dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas
  • Clean and sanitize the dishroom, including work surfaces, cupboards, and storage areas
  • Handle and store cleaning products and supplies
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Perform other cleaning and sanitation tasks as required
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
