About the Role

At Ruskin Enterprises Ltd, we are seeking an experienced construction laborer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in the construction industry and has a strong focus on material handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet high-quality standards
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs while maintaining attention to detail and safety protocols
  • Leveling earth to precise grade specifications to ensure stable and even surfaces
  • Paving and raking asphalt to achieve smooth finishes
  • Collaborating with the demolition team to safely dismantle buildings and clear debris
  • Removing rubble and other waste from construction sites to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Directing traffic at or near construction sites to minimize disruptions and ensure public safety
Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, but we also welcome applicants who are willing to learn and grow with our company
  • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and noisy environments
  • Strong physical abilities to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks, with good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated flexibility, reliability, and teamwork skills, with a hardworking attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to work
