Job Title: Database Analyst

At FLAMINKO INC., we are seeking a skilled Database Analyst to join our team. As a Database Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining computer databases, documenting customers' requirements for projects, and setting up the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain computer databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Document customers' requirements for projects to ensure effective data management.
  • Setup the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases efficiently.
  • Test data models and database management systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Design and develop databases to meet business needs.
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data and provide insights.
  • Develop and implement data administration policy, standards, and models to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy to ensure data accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in database management and administration.
  • Skills: Proficiency in R, Linux, Networking software, MySQL, Database software, Ajax, Git, Python, and SQL.
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Sitting for long periods with occasional standing and walking.

  • Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Initiative to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

  • English is the primary language of communication.
