About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a Construction Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our urban infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Monitor quality control procedures and document nonconformances.
  • Participate in discussions to determine appropriate resolutions for nonconformances.
  • Assist in compiling field data in report form for review by project designers.

Requirements:

  • A Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Designation as a Road Construction Junior Inspector (RCJI) Technology/Technician or currently as an engineering university/college student.
  • Previous engineering/construction experience is an asset.
  • Prior experience working on municipal and MTO projects.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training with PEO or as a Technician or Technologist with O.A.C.E.T.T.
  • Able to work on weekends and nights, as required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
