Job Title: Ironworker Helper

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as an Ironworker Helper at Nijjar Rebar & Stucco Ltd. As an Ironworker Helper, you will assist our experienced ironworkers in various construction projects, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as directed by senior ironworkers.
  • Help medical examiners in charge with tasks as required.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding role requiring manual dexterity and the ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Reliable and dependable individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Will train individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
Working Conditions:
  • Work outdoors, underground, and in confined spaces.
  • Exposure to cold and refrigerated environments.
  • Relocation costs covered by the employer for various locations.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
