Egis Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer/Geoscientist to join our growing team in the GTHA region. As a key member of our Environmental Division, you will play a vital role in delivering high-level services to our clients across Ontario and Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Phase I/One and II/Two Environmental Site Assessments, Remediations, Excess Soil Management, Landfill Monitoring, and other contaminated sites work.
- Provide senior review and Qualified Person (O.Reg. 153/04 and 406/19) services on a variety of projects.
- Actively engage in client management and business development with our GTHA client base.
- Prepare service proposals for both private and public clients.
- Liaise with clients, government and/or regulatory bodies as well as contractors.
- Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate Scientists and Engineers.
- Prepare technical specifications and reports.
- Prepare approval packages for Record of Site Conditions (RSC), Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECA), etc.
- Promote and oversee compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Post-Secondary University education in Geosciences, Geological, Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 10 years of demonstrated geosciences consulting experience, including project management and client communications.
- P.Geo or P.Eng, registered in the Province of Ontario and/or Nationally and in good standing.
- Proven experience writing winning proposals and experience executing on those projects.
- Knowledge of key provincial regulations, protocols, and industry standards for practice.
