Parker Drilling seeks an experienced Roustabout (Ad hoc) to join our team in the dynamic field of oil and gas drilling operations. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our drilling equipment and processes.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for individuals with strong technical skills and a passion for the oil and gas industry. As a Roustabout (Ad hoc), you will work closely with our team to achieve operational excellence and ensure the safe and efficient completion of drilling projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drilling Deck Operations: Assist with crane work and deck activities, ensuring the rig is properly prepared for drilling operations.
  2. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment, including circulating, rotating, hoisting, and well control systems.
  3. Supply Boat Operations: Off-load and load supply boats with equipment necessary for platform operations.
  4. Tubular Handling: Strap and measure tubular and tools, ensuring they are properly secured and transported to the rig floor.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in basic rigger's role and familiar with mechanical systems and hand/power tools.
  • Operational Experience: Previous experience in the oil industry, preferably in drilling and well operations.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position requires working at heights, exposure to noise, vibration, and hazardous conditions. The successful candidate must be able to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds, operate machinery and power tools, and work in adverse weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
