We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at NovaXpress Courier Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of the vehicle and equipment.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
- A valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) is required.
- Previous experience in the transportation industry is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
