Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, common areas, and public spaces. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpeting, and making beds.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a clean and dust-free environment.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable sleeping environment.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests.
  • Stock linen closets and ensure adequate supplies are available.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas as required.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience an asset.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work 30 to 44 hours per week.
