Responsibilities

As a Food Service Team Member, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, surfaces, and utensils to ensure a safe and clean environment for our guests;">
  • Preparing and cooking food items according to our recipes and presentation guidelines;">
  • Taking orders accurately and efficiently from customers using our point-of-sale system;">
  • Handling cash and operating a cash register with accuracy and efficiency;">
  • Providing exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner;">
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including storage areas and walk-in refrigerators;">
  • Receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in a timely and efficient manner;">
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge;">
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service;">

Requirements

To be successful as a Food Service Team Member at McDonald's, you will need to possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;">
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;">
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register;">
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and safely in a fast-paced environment;">
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.">">
