We are seeking a reliable and caring family nanny to provide top-notch childcare for our toddler to pre-school age child in an urban setting.


Job Summary


This role involves providing comprehensive care, including light housekeeping and cleaning duties, bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children, discipline according to parents' methods, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide high-quality childcare services to our child, including organizing activities, preparing and serving nutritious meals, and supervising and caring for them
  • Maintain a clean and organized living space, adhering to non-smoking policies and ensuring a safe environment
  • Establish a daily routine that meets our child's physical, emotional, and educational needs
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding our child's daily activities, meals, and any notable events or incidents
  • Ensure punctuality and reliability in transporting our child to school and appointments
  • Tend to our child's emotional well-being by providing comfort, reassurance, and positive reinforcement
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with our child, fostering trust and open communication
  • Bidirectionally supervise and interact with our child during playtime and daily activities

Requirements



  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to childcare and education, with a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Showcase exceptional client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organization, reliability, patience, and honesty
  • Undergo a thorough background check and provide verifiable references
  • Possibly reside in our employer's home, with accommodation available upon agreement
  • Be willing to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities within our household

Work Conditions



  • Non-smoking environment maintained throughout the residence
  • A standard 40-hour workweek with regular breaks and time off as agreed upon
  • Urban area with easy access to public transportation

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
