Job Title: Food Services Manager - Lead Operations
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Food Services Manager to lead our operations team at Barburrito Fresh Mexican Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our food services department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and optimize staff scheduling
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of food service staff
- Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring the best possible prices and quality
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Hospitality administration/management, other
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
Working Conditions:
- Permanent position
- 30 to 44 hours per week
- English language
