Electrical Designer

Creaform Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our team. As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the definition of client needs and propose optimal solutions;
- Participate in design reviews with different departments;
- Make recommendations to engineers in charge of functions;
- Develop connection diagrams according to the requirements of its functional block;
- Write engineering notes in accordance with information quality criteria;
- Participate in the design of panels and harnesses;
- Develop concepts taking into account current and future variable configurations with analysts and systems engineers;
- Validate the functional aspect of the design in prototyping and on the assembly line;
- Participate in the development of the company's technical standards;
- Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and present work plans;
- Document from a technical perspective the processes used to promote knowledge transfer and retention.
- Hold a DEC in electrical engineering or other relevant discipline;
- More than 3 years of experience in product development and systems integration in a manufacturing environment;
- Experience in PCB design;
- Relevant experience in manufacturing as an electrical designer;
- Experience with electrical schematic software (EPLAN, Saber Harness an asset);
- Excellent mastery in automation of work tools (advanced Excel);
- Enjoys working in the field of product development;
- Is mobile for short, medium or long trips;
- Excellent communication skills in French.
